Sobenkneferu was a female pharaoh, the last ruler of the twelfth dynasty of Egypt..  Her name means "the beauty of Sobek."

Sobek was the ancient Egyptian god of the Nile who brought fertility to the land. Because of his ferocity, he was considered to be the patron of the army. The strength and speed of the crocodile was thought to be symbolic of the power of the Pharaoh, and the word "sovereign" was written with the hieroglyph of a crocodile. So  queen Sobenkneferu was like the Gal Gadot, the Wonderwomen, of the Egyptian time as I can see it..

(It is also interesting to know that Egyptians mummified crocodiles in honor of Sobek, both infant and mature crocodiles and even interred crocodile eggs in order to enlist the protection of Sobek in the afterlife…. crocodiles were treated like household pets and were adorned with anklets and other decorative jewels..)
